I’m exhausted. Not from the many projects sitting on my desk; or the phone calls that need to be returned; or the creative projects that need a little more input. I’m exhausted from my “social” calendar – social networking that is. With so many communication vehicles I need to update post and “tweet” about, I’m having writer’s blog. Read more…
My husband is a meat and potatoes man. Give him a good side of beef and he’s one happy boy. So imagine his disappointment when a client (and friend) made reservations at SUSHISAMBA® a restaurant specializing in Japanese, Brazilian and Peruvian cuisine in Las Vegas. Read more…

After I get off the phone with clients, I have such fodder for discussion. Here’s the thing about Susan. She has a really nice voice. Really nice. However, you can’t honestly say you’ve never heard a voice as good as Susan’s. You can’t honestly say there aren’t any other people out there with potentially even better voices. What blew your mind about Susan was one thing: it was unexpected. And now, Susan Boyle fever has spread faster than you can say Swine Flu. Read more…
About four years ago I was going through another wedding journey with my oldest daughter. She’s a little more intense than the younger one – a real stickler for details and perfection. In researching wedding cakes, she stumbled across a true wedding cake artist(who we will refer to for the sake of this article as Shirley) who had many of her creations featured in the bride-to-be bible, better known as – Martha Stewart Weddings. Of all things – Shirley resided in a small town in Ohio about an hour away from our home.A designer cake is obviously not that easy to come by in Toledo, Ohio. We squeezed Shirley and her cakes into our two-day, whirlwind wedding planning tour (my daughter lives in LA and had limited time in Toledo). We could hardly control our excitement. Read more…
